The first day of my internship at Phillip Lim I was asked to open the showroom doors for one of the models. The show was in a couple of days and models were in and out for final castings/fittings. I had been at Phillip Lim for all of 30 seconds when I was asked to complete this simple task, but I wasn't prepared for what I saw. I opened the door fully expecting some unrecognizable, underage, emaciated creature but standing before me was Irina.
My jaw dropped but I managed to stutter "Hello, how are you?"
"Good Good," she answered with a slightly raspy voice. I then smiled at her male companion and then offered them both water or coffee. But then I turned into a groupie and just stared, caught myself staring, and ran back into the office.
